love my way

my fiance just made us breakfast for dinner - delicious and comforting. we are starting to pack up our current apartment - the anticipation is getting to be too much! as much of a pain as it is, i love moving; new clean spaces, new furniture, that fresh sense of belonging. it is such a needed change (we probably should have moved out of here a year ago, at least) and i can't wait for it to come into fruition.

this last weekend was lovely, per usual. had an amazing thrifting day - black silk, velvet leopard print, the perfect ankle boots ... restored my faith in even attempting to purchase from second hand stores, as before this i'd struggle to walk away with even one exciting purchase.

anyways, i am asleep on my feet, and excited for bed. xoxo.

loving basically everything my bright eyes see. i'm so happy to be home after a long day - curled up in blankets, sipping chai with the windows open to the rain. we've been looking at puppies on the humane society websites & talking about decorating the new apartment nonstop ... so excited. possible names for my puppy: blixa, lucretia, witchbaby, stagger lee, sylvia, camille (my favorite prince alter ego, although it may be a little weird as one of our parakeets is named camilla ... ) and faust - really, the list is endless. can't wait forever always so in love with everything!

doll eyes, big veins, dog bait

i got almost no sleep, feel crazy & am furthering that by listening to more coil and texting nonstop nonsense to my fiance. i seriously don't know what's wrong with my body - i am normally a sleeping machine - but this last week threw my internal clock off REALLY BADLY. hopefully a full day in bed with my netflix, lots of mint tea & all the windows open to the warm rain will do the trick.
