basically every other day i get sick of looking at fashion on the internet -- everyone looks too young or old, everyone looks too purposefully messy or perfect, everyone is posturing, social status and blog comments and cattiness ... it's all so boring. so then i spend the day looking at photos of courtney love, or kathleen hannah, or siouxsie sioux - women who not only thought about what they wore, but also had a personal message behind those clothes - and i feel whole again.
